When do I use Inspired Start?
We know the transition to solid foods is different for every baby. Inspired Start is great for babies 4 months and up who are not allergic to the ingredients of Inspired Start.
How much allergen is in one serving of Inspired Start?
Each pouch contains 1 gram of allergen protein, except for our Banana & Tree Nut pouches which contain 1 gram of each tree nut protein (almond, walnut, and cashew) for a total of 3 grams.
What are the ingredients in Inspired Start?
All of our pouches are made with organic fruits and non-GMO ingredients. We have 8 different recipes that cover the top 8 food allergens (besides milk). We don’t include cow’s milk. In it’s place, we’ve included the 9th top food allergen: sesame.
Where is Inspired Start made?
Our foods are made in the United States in an FDA-registered facility that strictly adheres to food production GMPs. We follow strict guidelines to ensure there is no cross-contamination between ingredients in different pouches.
What are the signs of a reaction?
The first signs of a reaction can be mild and may include one symptom or a combination of symptoms like hives, redness of the skin, or an itchy mouth or ear canal. Serious symptoms include trouble swallowing, shortness of breath, loss of consciousness, and a weak pulse. For a full list of symptoms, see FARE’s Food Allergy 101.
What is the difference between the boxes?
Both Pack 1 and Pack 2 contain two pouches of four different recipes. Pack 1 introduces peanut, egg, tree nut, and soy and Pack 2 introduces wheat, sesame, shrimp, and cod. Once you’ve introduced each of these delicious foods, the Variety Pack will help you keep them as a regular part of your baby’s diet or help to vary the diet of older, picky eaters!
